Notes from NolenHappy Thanksgiving!
The God Who Delivers You Teaching Series Continues
Have you seen God's proverbial handwriting on the wall in your life? Has God been saying something to you about changes that may need to be made in your Christian walk? Ignoring messages from God is a dangerous thing. This Sunday from Daniel, Chapter 5, we will look at the danger of living with known sin in our lives. Please read and study this chapter before Sunday.

Agunda Children's Home Night at Culver's Restaurant on Corkscrew Road
Please join the Legacy Church family on Tuesday, November 28, 5:00-8:00 pm for dinner at Culver's on Corkscrew Road. By then, you will be tired of eating left over turkey. A portion of all proceeds during these hours from all who eat at Culver's will go to support the orphans at our partner ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, the Agunda Children's Home.
Pray for the Launch of Island Fellowship
Last Sunday Chuck and Mary Smith, along with other leaders, launched a new church plant, Island Fellowship, on Palm Island where they live. The inaugural service was great with over 50 people present, including 12 from Legacy Church. Please continue to pray for this partnership church plant as we join the First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte in establishing this new church.
Our Annual Be A Santa To A Senior Christmas Project
As we have done for the past 7 years, Legacy Church will be a co-sponsor of the Be A Santa To A Senior Project with Grace Works Unlimited and Home Instead. Our assignment is to provide gifts for all the residents of another ministry partner, the Estero LifeCare Centerfor Seniors.
This Sunday please take one or more of the tags from the Christmas Tree in the Galleria, purchase the gifts and return them to the Church on or before December 10. (Notice extended time for this project.) We also encourage you to be a part of the team that delivers these gifts to the residents on Wednesday, December 13, 6:30 pm.
Another Mission Team Going Abroad
Patrick and Lisa Gunther and Jennifer Hogue will be going to minister to another one of our mission partners, the Agunda Children's Home, December 7-17. Please be praying for this team as they prepare for their trip to Nairobi, Kenya. If you feel led to do so, please help the team with their expenses of approximately $2,000.00 per person. Donations may be made payable to Legacy Church with "Kenya Team" on the memo line.
Also, Emily Walker will be returning to India in early December for an extended mission assignment with All Will Know Him.
And don't forget to be praying for Rodger and Donna Flemming in Indonesia on a two month mission assignment.
I hope to see you at Legacy Sunday with a guest.
