Legacy Church Membership Luncheon
Sunday, April 15, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

As Pastor of Legacy Church I would like to extend to you an invitation to our Membership Luncheon on Sunday, April 15, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. The luncheon will be catered by one of my favorite restaurants, Mission BBQ. There is no cost for the luncheon. You will get to meet all out staff and elders.

The purpose for this luncheon is to answer all your questions about Legacy Church - our mission, vision, values, philosophy, beliefs and basic strategy as a church. There is no obligation on your part to become a member. An invitation for membership will be extended with absolutely no pressure for you to do anything other than what you feel God would have you do.

Childcare will be provided for preschoolers if needed. Older children are welcome to attend the luncheon as they are also welcome to become members. Preschoolers will also attend the luncheon before being cared for in our preschool area. Even if you are not interested in church membership, I hope you will join us to learn more about Legacy Church. You may sign up in the Church Galleria on Sunday.

12:00 Noon - 1:30 PM

Speaker: Jim Milby, Retired Launch Conductor,
Lockheed Martin Corporation
Hear Jim share stories of his 40 year career in the spacecraft and satellite industry and principles of leadership that led Jim to success as a quiet, humble and supportive leader.

After graduating from Winter Park High School. FL in 1960, Jim served four years in The United States Air Force at bases in west Texas and Turkey. After returning home, he took a job as a mechanic on the Titan Missile Program at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station with the Martin Company (later to become the Lockheed Martin Corp.). He retired almost forty years later from Titan as a Launch Conductor after serving on over 125 Titan Launches at both east and west coast missile ranges. Since his retirement in 2001 Jim has served in various church planting positions including Legacy Church in Estero, Florida. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for Kingdom Mobilization, as a certified GPS Life Journey Facilitator and the Mobilization Movement Leader for establishing a GPS movement in Huntsville, AL.
Jim is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.  He and his wife, Linda, of fifty years live in Huntsville, AL. They have two married sons and five grandchildren. They are members of Providence Baptist Church in Huntsville and serve in the discipleship and deacon visitation ministries there.
